Supported by studies

In 2005, a study was conducted to assess how lavender essential oil affected 31 young and healthy volunteers. The results showed that lavender increased the amount of SWS (slow-wave) sleep in participants, and all volunteers concluded that they felt more awake the next morning.

Another study was also conducted on orange essential oils, where researchers identified how proper use of the oil could slow down the breathing and pulse rate of participants, resulting in better quality sleep.
